Fay Wray was one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood during the 1930s. She starred in a number of successful films, including King Kong



Born in 1907, Wray started her career as a stage actress before making the move to Hollywood in the 1930s. Her breakout role came in 1933, when she starred in King Kong alongside Robert Armstrong and Bruce Cabot. The film was a huge success, and made Wray a household name.


In addition to her work in film, Wray also appeared on Broadway and television throughout her career. She passed away in 2004 at the age of 96.
