Natalie Wood born 1938 and died in November 1981 she was born in San Francisco to Russian immigrants began her career as a child star she received three Academy Award nominations before she turned 25
She began acting in films at the age of 4 and when she was 8 was given a co starring role in the 1947 Christmas classic Miracle on 34th Street and in 1955 got a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the movie rebel Without a Cause she starred in musicals gypsy 1962 and West Side Story in 1961
She was married to the actor Robert Wagner and to Richard Gregson she had a daughter with Gregson
She died at the age of 43 in 1981
